German artist Regine Ramseier created this incredible installation. What is so impressive is how delicate dandelions are in the first place. I remember as a child, a little gust of wind would send these flowers with yellow petals afloat around me.
I was intrigued by the process of this installation. It seems, after collecting the dandelions, it is pretreated with adhesive spray. Then, the dandelions are hanged upside down on a device similar to a laundry wire in Ramseier’s car. Finally, the flowers are moved from a custom palette and hung one by one. Amazing.
